Power Down Pete

We were lucky enough to have a visit from Power Down Pete. He came in for the morning and taught us all about climate change, our carbon footprint and what we can do to make a change for our future world.

We sang some songs about ways to save power, for example, hanging your washing on the line if the weather is fine. We played recycling themed parachute games and we played energy saving human snakes and ladders.

It was a wonderful way to learn about our planet and the impact our actions have. We have all been very keen to conserve energy since, for example, turning the lights out when we go out for break.
